Professor Clutterham was raised by Christian parents in Southern California, and came to know Jesus as Savior and Lord as a teenager. As a young Christian, he attended a Christian college where his studies centered around biblical languages, and biblical counseling. He was deeply impacted by a semester-abroad program in Israel (IBEX), which later motivated him to study at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Professor Clutterham continued his theological training at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, KY) before coming to St. Louis in 2016 to teach at Brookes Bible College until his death in January of 2022. He served as the Professor of Bible & Practical Theology as well as the Vice-President of Academic Affairs and Enrollment Management. He was ordained to the gospel ministry and joined the pastoral team of Clayton Community Church here in St. Louis in February 2019.
Joshua is survived by his wife Meredith are blessed with five young sons.
